Vehicle Installation Categories
Installation pricing is based on the vehicle’s make, model, year, ignition type and electrical system. Vehicles are generally classified into the following categories:
Basic
Vehicles manufactured in 1999 or earlier with a traditional key-start ignition.
Standard
Vehicles manufactured between 2000 and 2015 with a traditional key-start ignition.
Complex
Vehicles manufactured from 2016 onwards, as well as vehicles equipped with:
All electric and hybrid vehicles are assessed separately, regardless of their year, make or model.
Additional Labour: Some vehicles may require additional installation time due to their design, accessibility or electrical complexity. If extra labour charges are likely to apply, we will advise you and provide an updated quotation before proceeding.

Our trained technician will professionally install the Dräger Alcohol Interlock system and camera in your vehicle.
We will provide practical training covering:

- Victorian Alcohol Interlock Installation Certificate.
- Evidence of identity (100 points) ie: drivers licence, passport or proof of age.
- Licence Eligibility Order (LEO) – if applicable.
- Health Care Card
- Pension Concession Card
- Department of Veterans Affairs Gold Cards – TPI, EDA, War Widow or War Widower
Our trained technician will professionally install the Dräger Alcohol Interlock system and camera in your vehicle.
We will provide practical training covering:
- How to correctly provide a breath sample using our demonstration model.
- How to start your vehicle using the interlock.
- What to do when a retest is requested while driving.
- How to avoid failed or missed tests.
